So if we are to play online we need to have a software which communicate with the online servers and allow players of the world to join.This does not mean we must have a software to play online,we can play without software.But a software makes it easier and it is attractive.you may notice these things once you get to no all these stuffs..(I will show the method to join online games without a software in future tutorials).
Right now I'm going to show you the most common software which is used by most of the gamers(not only cod4)worldwide.It is one of the best software for online gamers.Any way there are more.
This post will be some what longer because of having many steps in Game Ranger setup.Just hang in there..
okay now follow the guides..
Download Game Ranger here-****Click here****
- Go to above link..
- Click on Download GameRanger..
- Then it will start to download..
- Then go to download place and start the setup.
- Click on the check boxes as you need..
- Then follow these images..
- After above steps you can create a account.If you all ready have a game ranger account you can use it.if not click on "create a new account" radio button.
- Just click next on the next step keeping the Invite code blank.
- Then you give your email address and a password to login to your game ranger account.(Not your email password you can use what ever you need).
- Now give a Nickname which will display to your game ranger friends and to all others around the world.And give your real name.(You can use a whatever a name)
- If you are less than 18 years in the next step choose the first radio button and make filter the chat room messages.If not use the second radio button.
- In the next step select your country..It will not show list of countries at your first glance.check on the check box below and then select your country.(You can also select a fake country.It will not be an issue).
- After clicking next read the wizard..Before clicking next goto your email(Email you added in previous steps)
- You can see a email from Game Ranger.Go to it.
- There you can see a link below ""Click this link to activate your new account" click on it.
- Then your account will be activated..
- Then close your browser and click on the next on the game ranger wizard and finish it.
- Then you will be logged in.
Warning-Keep on your internet connection until you exit from the Game ranger.If the internet connection is interrupted game ranger will show an error.
